product brief introduction The 800GBASE-ZR QSFP-DD coherent optical transceiver is designed for long-haul 800Gbps high-speed Ethernet transmission. Utilizing a C-band DWDM tunable wavelength (191.375THz-196.025THz) and dual LC/UPC connectors, it achieves a transmission distance of up to 120km over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) without external optical amplification. The 800GBASE-ZR+ QSFP-DD coherent optical transceiver further extends the transmission limit, covering distances from 480km to 1000km under the same fiber type and interface configuration. This series strictly complies with the OIF 800ZR standard, IEEE 802.3ck Ethernet standard, and QSFP-DD MSA package standard. It features built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), enabling real-time access to key operational parameters such as optical power, temperature, voltage, and bias current. This facilitates precise monitoring of the module's status and timely fault troubleshooting for network operators. The 800G ZR/ZR+ QSFP-DD module with dual LC/UPC interfaces adopts a cover and heat sink fin design, meeting the high-power cooling requirements of air-cooled Ethernet switches. It offers core advantages including low latency (typical <10μs), low power consumption (full load <15W), and high reliability (MTBF >2 million hours). In network architectures, it enables long-distance interconnections between backbone switches and high-speed communication between data center core layers and remote nodes. It is particularly suitable for demanding scenarios requiring long transmission distances and high bandwidth, such as HPC clusters, AI model training data transmission, and large-scale cloud data center interconnections, providing stable and reliable optical communication support for high-volume data flow.
