800GBASE-DR8 OSFP LPO (Linear-drive Pluggable Optics) optical transceiver module, designed for 800GBASE Ethernet. It supports transmission distances up to 500 meters over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) using dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors, operating at a wavelength of 1310nm. This module complies with CMIS 5.0, LPO MSA 1.0, and OSFP MSA standards. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) enables real-time access to operational parameters. LPO modules adopt a linear architecture, with a linear driver on the TX side and a TIA on the RX side, eliminating the traditional DSP/CDR ASIC to simplify the signal path, reduce power consumption, and lower latency. They are designed to withstand a wide range of external operating conditions, including temperature, humidity, and EMI. While maintaining a pluggable design for flexible cabling and maintenance, the module utilizes silicon photonic integrated circuits (PIC) to achieve compact, high-speed, and highly reliable connectivity.
