The 800GBASE 2xFR4 OSFP optical transceiver is designed for 800GBASE Ethernet, supporting link lengths up to 2km on OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) via duplex LC/UPC connectors. This module complies with IEEE 802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu, and OSFP MSA standards. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) allows real-time access to operating parameters. The dual-port OSFP module with lid and heat sink fins is used in air-cooled Ethernet switches. It features low latency, low power consumption, and high reliability, enabling uplinks between switches in Spine-Leaf architectures, downlinks to top-of-rack switches and Ethernet NICs, or connections to BlueField-3 DPUs in compute servers and storage subsystems. It is an ideal solution for HPC computing, AI, and cloud data centers. |
