The 800GBASE-2*DR4/DR8 OSFP optical module is designed for 800GBASE Ethernet, achieving transmission distances of up to 500 meters over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) using a 1310nm wavelength and dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors. This module complies with IEEE 802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu, and OSFP MSA standards. It features built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time access to operating parameters. This dual-port OSFP module with cover and heat sink fins is intended for air-cooled Ethernet switches. It offers low latency, low power consumption, and high reliability, enabling uplink inter-switch connections in Spine-Leaf architectures and downlink connections for top-of-rack switches to Ethernet NICs, or to BlueField-3 DPUs in compute servers and storage subsystems. It is an ideal solution for HPC computing, AI, and cloud data centers.
