This 800GBASE-DR8 QSFP-DD optical transceiver is designed for 800GBASE Ethernet, achieving transmission distances of up to 500m over 8 pairs of single-mode fiber via an MPO-16 APC interface. The module complies with IEEE P802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu, and QSFP-DD MSA standards. The 800 Gigabit Ethernet signal is transmitted on 8 parallel channels, one wavelength per channel. The built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) function allows access to real-time operating parameters. It is suitable for 800G Ethernet, data centers, and breakout applications such as 2x400G DR4 or 8x100G DR.
