The 50GBASE-SR SFP56 optical module supports link lengths of up to 100m/10km~80km over OM4 multimode/OS2 singlemode fiber via an LC duplex connector. Digital diagnostic functions are accessible via a 2-wire serial interface. This module complies with applicable requirements defined in SFF-8402, SFF-8472, IEEE 802.3cd, OIF-CEI-04.0, RoHS-6 QSFP28 MSA, SFF-8636, and SFF-8679, and is suitable for 25G & 50GBase Ethernet applications.
