The 800G OSFP 2xVR4 optical transceiver is designed for 800GBASE Ethernet. Utilizing 850nm wavelength and dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors, it supports transmission distances of up to 50m over OM4 multimode fiber. This module complies with IEEE 802.3ck and OSFP MSA standards. It features built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time access to operational parameters. This dual-port OSFP module with a heat sink is intended for air-cooled Ethernet switches. It offers low latency, low power consumption, and high reliability. It can be used for uplinks between switches in Spine-Leaf architectures, or for downlinks from top-of-rack switches to Ethernet NICs, or to BlueField-3 DPUs in compute servers and storage subsystems.
