The module can transmit up to 100km over LC single-mode fiber. Each SFP optical module is individually tested for compatibility with a range of Cisco switches, routers, servers, NICs, etc. The 1G SFP optical module features low power consumption and hot-swappable capability, suitable for ISP Fast Ethernet communication links, enterprise LAN & SAN networks, data center LAN & SAN networks, and other optical links.
