The QSFP28 optical module is a quad-channel small form-factor pluggable module that utilizes LC connectors and 1310nm-TX/1270nm-RX wavelengths to achieve 100GBase-BX transmission over single-mode fiber for distances up to 80km. This module features a cooled 4×25Gb/s LAN-WDM NRZ (Non-Return-to-Zero) modulated EML laser, making it suitable for traditional 100G switches and routers. The 100G BX80 optical module complies with the QSFP28 MSA standard, supports RoHS-10 lead-free environmental specifications, and provides Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) via an I2C interface for real-time monitoring of key operational parameters. |
